Change
begins...
Change
begins not with grand gestures, but with purposeful action, quiet yet powerful
steps that reshape how we teach, learn, and lead. This spirit came alive at
Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) as the Graduate School of Education (GSE), in
partnership with the GSE Student Council (GSESC), took a bold step toward
academic equity through the Ceremonial Signing and Turnover of GSE Donations
held on June 17, 2025, at the CMC Graduate Research Defense Room.
The event marked the formal turnover of twelve (12) Epson multimedia projectors
with tripods, a strategic move that affirms CMC’s enduring commitment to
academic excellence, digital innovation, and inclusive education. These
learning tools are set to enhance student research defenses, classroom
instruction, and organizational activities across the college.
More than a symbolic handover, the initiative stands as a concrete
manifestation of Central Mindanao Colleges’ alignment with the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It supports SDG 4: Quality Education by
integrating modern technology into teaching, learning, and research; advances
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by providing equitable access to multimedia
resources for both faculty and students; and fulfills SDG 17: Partnerships for
the Goals by forging collaborative engagement between institutional leaders,
academic departments, and student councils. This strategic alignment
underscores CMC’s unwavering dedication to sustainable, inclusive, and
high-impact education.
“This moment is not just about technology, it’s about transformation,” shared
Dr. Gemma N. Kintanar, Dean of the Graduate School of Education. “Through this
initiative, we equip our learners not only with tools but with opportunities to
create impact, lead confidently, and serve with integrity.”
The ceremony featured a meaningful sequence of activities: a formal signing of
the deed of donation, awarding of certificates, and inspiring messages from key
leaders of the college. It was a celebration of shared purpose,
forward-thinking leadership, and collective responsibility.
With the combined efforts of GSE, GSESC, and the broader CMC community, this
turnover goes beyond institutional support, it stands as a model of how
empowered students and visionary educators can work together to reshape the
educational experience.
As Central Mindanao Colleges continues to cultivate a culture of excellence and
innovation, it remains committed to one enduring truth: a great education is
not just delivered, it is shared, sustained, and strengthened through
meaningful collaboration.
Central Mindanao Colleges:
Where knowledge is shared, leadership is nurtured,
and futures are transformed.
