CMC Explores Possible Research Collaboration with Research Synergy Foundation

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) recently participated in an online engagement with the Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) to discuss possible areas of collaboration in research development and international academic engagement.

During the session, RSF presented its Global Research Ecosystem, which connects researchers, lecturers, scholars, and practitioners from different parts of the world through international conferences, academic publishing platforms, peer-review networks, and research capacity-building programs.

The meeting served as an initial exploratory discussion to identify potential opportunities where CMC faculty members and graduate students may participate in international research initiatives, conferences, and scholarly publication activities.

The discussion is particularly relevant as higher education institutions continue to align their graduate programs with CHED Memorandum Order No. 21, Series of 2025, which emphasizes research outputs and scholarly publication in recognized refereed outlets as part of graduate education requirements. 

CMC representatives also explored possible areas of cooperation, including research mentoring programs, participation in international conferences, and academic writing initiatives that could help strengthen the research capabilities of faculty members and graduate students.

This initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by fostering global academic collaboration and promoting knowledge exchange across institutions and countries.

While the engagement served as a preliminary discussion, both parties expressed openness to exploring future partnerships that could contribute to advancing research productivity, global knowledge sharing, and international academic collaboration.

Through dialogues like this, Central Mindanao Colleges continues to expand its global academic network while promoting research excellence, innovation, and international engagement.
