CMC and Sharda University Agra Formalize Global Academic Partnership Through MoU

Kidapawan City, Philippines | 12 February 2026

Aligned with its internationalization banner Tambayayong: Forging Collaborations for International Linkages and Global Academic and Cultural Exchanges, Central Mindanao Colleges, Philippines through its Center for International Affairs and Linkages formally established an academic partnership with Sharda University Agra, India through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on February 12, 2026. The ceremony was conducted virtually via Zoom, reflecting a shared commitment between the Philippines and India to strengthening global collaboration and academic connectivity.

The signing was held in conjunction with Sharda University Agra’s 1st International Conference on Innovative and Sustainable Practices in Redefining Economy, positioning the partnership within a strong international platform centered on innovation, sustainability, and global academic dialogue. The conference gathered scholars, researchers, and academic leaders to explore transformative approaches to economic and sustainable development practices.

The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a cooperative framework for joint initiatives in instruction, research, extension, academic exchange, and other scholarly engagements. Both institutions expressed their commitment to advancing collaborative research projects, faculty and student mobility, co hosted academic activities, and cross cultural learning opportunities.

This partnership directly contributes to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals, and SDG 9 Industry Innovation and Infrastructure. Through strengthened academic cooperation, research collaboration, and global knowledge exchange, the two institutions aim to promote inclusive and equitable quality education while fostering innovation driven by international partnerships.
