The Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges provides strategic leadership, institutional governance, and policy oversight in advancing the College's vision, mission, and long-term development.
Guided by the institutional core values of Love for God, Integrity, Family Orientation, and Excellence, the Board promotes responsible governance, institutional accountability, academic quality, and sustainable organizational growth.
Composed of professionals with expertise in education, business, finance, healthcare, law, communications, and institutional administration, the Board provides strategic direction in strengthening academic programs, institutional operations, research, community engagement, and organizational development.
Working collaboratively with the Office of the School President and institutional administration, the Board upholds CMC's commitment to quality education, holistic student formation, and meaningful service to society.

DR. VICTOR G. QUIAMBAO, JR.
Chairman, Board of Directors Vice President for Administration
Dr. Victor G. Quiambao, Jr. is an academician, educator, and institutional leader with more than two decades of experience in graduate and undergraduate education.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the University of the Immaculate Conception, a Doctor of Management from Ateneo de Davao University, and a Master in Management from the University of the Philippines.
His professional background includes teaching and mentoring at Ateneo de Davao University, the University of the Immaculate Conception, and Central Mindanao Colleges. He has also contributed to academic research through presentations and publications for national and international audiences.
As Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice President for Administration, Dr. Quiambao provides leadership in institutional governance, strategic planning, administrative management, and infrastructure development. His contributions support responsible institutional stewardship, effective organizational operations, and the continuing advancement of CMC's educational mission and long-term institutional development.
DR. CYNTHIA SABULAO ASUNCION
Vice Chairperson, Board of Directors School President
Dr. Cynthia Sabulao Asuncion is an educator, academic administrator, and institutional leader with extensive professional experience in healthcare, education, and community service.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Silliman University and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Mindanao. Her professional background includes service as a clinical instructor, public health nurse, faculty member, and academic administrator.
Since assuming the presidency of Central Mindanao Colleges in June 2015, Dr. Asuncion has provided institutional leadership in advancing academic development, quality assurance, research, community engagement, and internationalization.
As Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors and School President, she contributes to institutional governance and strategic direction while overseeing the College's educational mission. Her leadership supports the continuing development of academic programs, student-centered services, institutional partnerships, and learning environments that prepare competent, ethical, and socially responsible graduates for meaningful professional and societal contributions.
DIR. ERLINDA ABELLERA MAGBANUA
Corporate Secretary
Director Erlinda Abellera Magbanua is an experienced corporate secretary and institutional administrator with a professional background in business administration, educational management, and corporate governance.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, major in Secretarial Management, and a Master of Arts in Educational Management. Her professional experience includes serving as Director for Student Affairs, through which she developed expertise in organizational administration, institutional leadership, and student development.
As Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges, Director Magbanua supports the administration of Board proceedings, corporate documentation, institutional records, and governance-related functions. Her responsibilities contribute to the proper coordination of Board activities and the maintenance of official corporate records.
Her academic preparation and administrative experience support the College's commitment to effective governance, organizational accountability, and responsible institutional management. Through her professional responsibilities, she contributes to the continuity of institutional operations and the advancement of CMC's educational mission.
DIR. MARIVIC Q. PASCUAL
Corporate Treasurer Vice President for Accounting and Finance, Institute for Culture and the Arts
Director Marivic Q. Pascual is an institutional executive and educational leader whose professional responsibilities encompass financial management, corporate administration, education, and cultural development at Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC).
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, major in Mathematics, and a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd). Her academic preparation and professional experience provide a strong foundation for her leadership in institutional governance, financial administration, and educational development.
As Corporate Treasurer and Vice President for Accounting and Finance, Director Pascual contributes to institutional financial planning, fiscal accountability, responsible resource allocation, and long-term financial sustainability. Her leadership supports sound financial stewardship, operational efficiency, and the effective management of institutional resources in pursuit of CMC's strategic priorities.
In her concurrent role as Director of the Institute for Culture and the Arts (ICA), she champions cultural appreciation, artistic development, creative expression, and the preservation of cultural heritage. She supports initiatives that encourage student participation in the performing, visual, literary, and cultural arts, recognizing their essential contribution to holistic education, institutional identity, and community engagement.
Her responsibilities reflect an integrated commitment to financial integrity, educational excellence, cultural enrichment, and responsible institutional leadership. She recognizes the importance of balancing organizational sustainability with meaningful opportunities for creativity, learning, and community development.
Through her leadership in corporate finance, institutional administration, and cultural advancement, Director Marivic Q. Pascual continues to contribute to the organizational strength, cultural vitality, and long-term development of Central Mindanao Colleges.
DIR. MARY EILEEN Q. CANSON

Director Mary Eileen Q. Canson is a business professional with experience in financial management, banking, entrepreneurship, and corporate administration.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management, providing an academic foundation in organizational administration and business operations. Her professional experience includes serving as a banker at the Philippine National Bank, where she developed expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and investment.
As Proprietor and Financial Director of KURBA, a furniture business, she has applied her expertise in financial operations, business management, and enterprise development.
As a member of the Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges, Director Canson contributes her professional knowledge in finance, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning to institutional governance and financial decision-making.
Her experience in banking and business administration provides perspectives that support responsible resource management, organizational accountability, and the continuing financial and institutional development of the College.
DR. HECTOR G. QUIAMBAO

Dr. Hector G. Quiambao is a medical professional with experience in internal medicine, healthcare administration, and corporate governance.
He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a bachelor's degree in Biology, providing a foundation in medical science and healthcare practice. He is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians and a Certified Specialist of the Philippine Society of Hypertension.
His professional background includes medical practice and service on the boards of healthcare organizations, through which he has developed experience in healthcare management, organizational leadership, and corporate governance.
As a member of the Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges, Dr. Quiambao contributes his professional knowledge in healthcare, institutional management, and governance to the College's strategic development.
His multidisciplinary experience supports informed institutional decision-making, ethical organizational practices, and the continuing advancement of academic and administrative initiatives that serve the CMC community and support its educational mission.
DR. MARK GENNESIS B. DELA CERNA

Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna is an educational leader with extensive experience in academic administration, accreditation, institutional governance, and international academic engagement.
He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of the Immaculate Conception, a master's degree in Educational Management from Rizal Memorial Colleges, and a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, major in English.
His professional background includes service as a faculty member, Director for Student Affairs, Community Extension Service Officer, and College Dean of Teacher Education.
As Vice President for Academic Affairs, he provides leadership in academic governance, quality assurance, and program development.
Concurrently, as Director of the Institute for External and Alumni Affairs, he oversees the Center for International Affairs and Linkages, Center for Alumni Affairs, and Center for Job Placement.
As a Board member, Dr. Dela Cerna contributes his expertise in educational leadership, academic development, institutional partnerships, and external engagement to CMC's continuing advancement.
DIR. EROLLE LINUS T. MIRANDA
Member, Board of Directors Director, Institute for Support Services Officer, Center for Marketing and Strategic Communications
Director Erolle Linus T. Miranda is an institutional administrator, communications professional, cultural worker, and arts educator with extensive experience in educational administration, strategic communications, and community engagement.
He holds degrees in Development Communication from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan and Literature and Performing Arts, major in Theatre Arts, from Liceo de Cagayan University. His professional background includes communications work with Handicap International, Misereor, and Sanofi Aventis, alongside more than three decades of theater and cultural engagement.
As Director of the Institute for Support Services, he oversees the Centers for Student Success, Records and Admissions, Learning Resource and Information, Guidance Services and Testing, Holistic Health, and Athletic Development.
Concurrently, he serves as Officer of the Center for Marketing and Strategic Communications and Assistant to the Corporate Secretary.
As a Board member, Director Miranda contributes his interdisciplinary expertise in institutional administration, communications, education, and the arts.
DIR. FAYE MICHELLE S. BERTEL

Director Faye Michelle S. Bertel is a business professional and corporate leader with a background in healthcare, science, entrepreneurship, and organizational management.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Associate Degree in Nursing, providing an academic foundation in healthcare and the sciences.
Her professional experience includes corporate governance, business administration, and entrepreneurial ventures across healthcare, real estate, and retail. Through her involvement in business operations and organizational management, she has developed experience in strategic planning, enterprise development, and administrative oversight.
As a member of the Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges, Director Bertel contributes her professional knowledge in business management, organizational leadership, and entrepreneurship to institutional governance and strategic development.
Her experience across multiple industries provides perspectives that support institutional decision-making, responsible management, and the College's continuing commitment to organizational sustainability and long-term development.
ATTY. DANIELLE CAMILLE S. ASUNCION

Attorney Danielle Camille S. Asuncion is a legal professional and business leader with a background in law, real estate, corporate management, and strategic planning.
She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree and pursued her legal education at the University of Mindanao College of Law. Her professional experience includes serving as a real estate appraiser and broker, with expertise in property valuation, investments, acquisitions, and property management.
Her background in law, business administration, and real estate provides a foundation for institutional governance, strategic planning, and the evaluation of organizational opportunities and risks.
As a member of the Board of Directors of Central Mindanao Colleges, Attorney Asuncion contributes her legal knowledge, professional experience, and business management expertise to institutional governance and strategic development.
