Creative Works
The Center for Research, Publication, and Creative Works (CRPCW) serves as the central institutional office responsible for the development, management, dissemination, and utilization of research and creative works at Central Mindanao Colleges.
The Center provides comprehensive support to faculty, staff, and students in research development, scholarly publication, creative production, research quality assurance, academic collaboration, and knowledge dissemination. It promotes ethical research practices, strengthens institutional research capabilities, and facilitates meaningful engagement with local, national, and international academic communities.
The CRPCW implements its programs and services through two complementary banner programs: VANTAGE and LEXION. Together, these programs provide an integrated framework for advancing research and creative works, strengthening scholarly productivity, expanding academic partnerships, and enhancing institutional excellence.
Through research capability-building, technical assistance, research management, scholarly exchange, and creative works development, VANTAGE supports faculty, staff, and students throughout the research process.
Its services include research training, seminars, workshops, mentoring, proposal development, research design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, research methodology, and research ethics compliance.
The program also coordinates and monitors institutional research projects and provides opportunities for the presentation, exchange, and dissemination of research findings and creative outputs.
Provides platforms for research presentations, academic forums, colloquia, conferences, and scholarly discussions that encourage knowledge exchange, critical inquiry, and the dissemination of research findings.
Promotes inter-institutional and international research collaboration through joint academic activities, collaborative research projects, scholarly partnerships, and creative works initiatives.
Strengthens research quality through methodological guidance, ethical research practices, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, responsible authorship, and adherence to established research integrity standards.
Supports discipline-specific research, creative productions, applied studies, community-based research, and socially responsive scholarly outputs that contribute to academic advancement and community development.
LEXION advances the publication, visibility, leadership, and broader utilization of research and creative outputs developed within the institution.
The program supports scholarly writing, manuscript development, publication readiness, peer-review and editorial development, research visibility, research leadership, academic networking, and collaborative scholarly engagement.
Through publication assistance, mentoring, conferences, symposia, institutional partnerships, and international academic engagement, LEXION connects faculty, staff, and students with wider scholarly communities and opportunities for knowledge exchange.
The program also supports institutional initiatives related to research productivity, quality assurance, accreditation, internationalization, benchmarking, and academic excellence.
By facilitating collaborative research, scholarly publications, academic exchanges, and institutional linkages, LEXION strengthens the dissemination and utilization of research findings while expanding opportunities for institutional and professional development.
