Central
Mindanao Colleges successfully organized CMC Secure: An Anti-Hazing Seminar on
February 6, 2026, from 7:00 to 11:00 AM at CMC Building 9, promoting leadership
rooted in respect, responsibility, and integrity.
The
activity was spearheaded by The College of Criminal Justice Education Student
Council, in partnership with the school administration and concerned student
organizations, in observance of National Hazing Prevention Week.
The
seminar strengthened awareness of the dangers of hazing while encouraging
accountability, ethical leadership, and mutual respect among students.
Through
meaningful discussions and collective commitments, participants were empowered
to reject violence, uphold human dignity, and foster unity within the academic
community. The initiative reinforced CMC’s vision of maintaining a safe,
inclusive, and supportive campus environment.
Aligned
with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 4 (Quality
Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16
(Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the
Goals), this activity reflected the institution’s dedication to nurturing
responsible citizens and principled leaders.
Together,
the CMC community affirmed its commitment to building a culture of courage,
compassion, and integrity, where leadership is earned through service, respect,
and excellence.
Choose
CMC, where leaders rise through safety, honor, and excellence without borders.
