Center for Business Innovations and Development Holds Two-Day Strategic Review

With strategic agility and institutional alignment becoming critical to sustainable growth, the Center for Business Innovations and Development convened a two-day strategic review on January 21 to 22, 2026 at the boardroom to evaluate initiatives, strengthen development priorities, and guide innovation planning.

The review provided a comprehensive evaluation of the Center’s ongoing initiatives, operational priorities, and development frameworks. Key discussions focused on assessing program effectiveness, identifying areas for enhancement, and ensuring that innovation strategies remain aligned with institutional goals and emerging business needs.

The session was led by Mr. Gianne Carlos Q. Pascual, Head of the Center for Innovation and Business Development (CIBD). The initiative was conducted with governance monitoring and guidance from Dr. Victor G. Quiambao, Jr., and further supplemented by academic direction and inputs from the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna, to ensure alignment with academic and institutional priorities.

Outcomes of the review included refined strategic directions, strengthened implementation plans, and reinforced collaboration across development initiatives. The process highlighted the Center’s role in driving innovation, supporting organizational growth, and delivering value through structured business development efforts.

The strategic review supports SDG 9 through innovation and infrastructure development, SDG 8 by promoting sustainable economic growth, and SDG 16 through strengthened institutional planning, accountability, and governance.
