City, Philippines – On November 22, 2024, Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC)
through the CMC Athletic Development Center has partnered with Saniel Cruz
National High School for the “PANGANDAM: A Tune-Up Session for Skill
Enhancement and Victory.” This collaboration highlights CMC’s commitment to
promoting growth among student-athletes by working with other institutions to
share resources and expertise.
The
session, designed to enhance the technical skills, strategic mindset, and
resilience of the CMC Lions basketball team, showcases the power of
collaboration to achieve success. “Collaborations like these are essential in
cultivating well-rounded athletes and individuals,” said Sports Coordinator
John Lawrence Sabillena. “We are excited to see how this partnership will
promote growth, discipline, and success for our students.”
Aligned
with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4, and 17, the
partnership emphasizes holistic development and empowers students through
sports. “The value of partnerships cannot be overstated,” said Coaches Maria
Theresa Dalumpines and Louie Martin Emin of Saniel Cruz National High School.
“This collaboration not only boosts our athletes’ skills but also encourages a
spirit of camaraderie between institutions.”
CMC
continues to invite other institutions and organizations to utilize its
athletic facilities for future events and training programs. Through
initiatives like PANGANDAM, CMC is providing a space for partners to
collaborate, promote teamwork, and develop resilience.
This
open-door approach strengthens CMC’s role in the community, ensuring that its
resources contribute to the development of student-athletes and the growth of
local institutions.
