As CMC goes BEYOND, the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL) takes the lead in pioneering the creation of programs and establishing gateways of internationalization for Kidapawan and Region XII. On November 18, 2022, CMC CIAL participated in the Erasmus + Leaders’ Summit 2022 dubbed Ashanti 2022 held at San Pedro College, Davao City.

CMC CIAL Director Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna has joined 12 international relations offices in Region XI from other colleges, and universities under the Davao Colleges and Universities Network (DACUN) during the said event.

The event was organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, with support from San Pedro College as its partner school. The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines supports member organizations by facilitating market access and creating a level playing field for both European and Filipino companies and institutions.

CMC CIAL fosters CMC’s commitment to international affairs as it strives for a diverse culture, the advancement of science, and innovative global collaborations. The center works to collect quarterly, maintain regularly, and monitor the records of local and international linkages and collaborations of all offices of the institution; leads in establishing and monitoring institutional linkages and partnerships with local and foreign academic and non-academic institutions to initiate local and international programs, projects, and activities.

Moreover, it consolidates and promotes academic and non-academic foreign exchange programs, international conferences, training, workshops, and other related activities; assists in the processing of the application of CMC undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni members who are committed to foreign exchange programs and further studies. Lastly, it also assists in processing necessary documents of faculty and researchers of CMC and partner foreign institutions involved in research collaborations in the country and abroad.
