PRISM’s New Officers Take Oath for a Sustainable Future

C – Commitment to Global CitizenshipM – Mission-Driven LeadershipC – Catalysts for a Better Tomorrow PRISM’s New Officers Take Oath for a Sustainable Future In a momentous gathering that celebrated purpose, passion, and promise, the newly selected officers of PRISM—Passionate, Responsive Individuals for Strategic Internationalization towards Sustainable Development in Mindanao—officially took their oath of office on June 28, 2025, at Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC). This marked the beginning of a bold new chapter for student leadership in the realm of internationalization and sustainable development. PRISM, the official student arm of the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), has long been a training ground for globally minded student leaders. Its core mission is rooted in academic diplomacy, strategic partnerships, and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—not only within the CMC community, but across borders. The ceremony brought together both incoming and outgoing officers, along with their dedicated advisers, in a symbolic passing of the torch—honoring the organization’s legacy while embracing the future. More than a ceremonial rite, the oath-taking served as a powerful declaration of intent: a commitment to global awareness, intercultural engagement, and community-building through strategic linkages. The presence of former PRISM officers provided a strong sense of continuity and inspiration as they shared insights and words of encouragement, reminding the new officers of the enduring values that guide their leadership journey. Both outgoing and incoming advisers emphasized a shared message: PRISM is not just an organization—it is a movement of youth empowered to lead, connect, and make meaningful impact. As CMC continues to strengthen its international collaborations and SDG-aligned initiatives, PRISM remains at the forefront—serving as ambassadors of the institution’s mission for quality education, peace-building, sustainability, and global cooperation. This leadership transition signals the beginning of a vibrant journey. The new PRISM officers are now entrusted to lead with integrity, inspire through action, and connect with purpose—locally and globally. Their oath is more than a promise—it is a bold step forward in transforming vision into reality. PRISM OFFICERS, A.Y. 2025–2026President: Cristoper FernandoVice President for Internal Affairs: Zylene Rose OlbesVice President for External Affairs: Renamarl CabalesSecretary: Sofia Elizabeth SaladanAssistant Secretary: Blessy Faye Pauline CañeteTreasurer: Vanessa Faith PajaroPublic Relations Officer: Ariane Grace BanaisAuditor: Amirhusien BantoSDG Advocacy Coordinator: Allysa Porras MercadoArtistic Coordinator: Kaiser AsubeMembership Development and Recruitment Coordinator: Arnold JamesMedia, Documentation, and Communications Committee: • Janessah Leah Amboludan • Jeric Genobisa • Danie Paul MarañonIntercultural Affairs Coordinator: Arnel Uga #CMCChampions#PRISMLeadership2025#GlobalCitizenship#MissionDrivenLeadership#YouthForSustainability#SDG3 #GoodHealthAndWellBeing#SDG4 #QualityEducation#SDG16 #PeaceJusticeStrongInstitutions#SDG17 #PartnershipsForTheGoals#CMCInternationalization#LeadersOfTomorrow#CMCLinkages#StudentDiplomacy#EmpoweredYouth#ThinkGlobalActLocal #TransformingVisionIntoReality

CIAL Backs CABME Leads Launch Through Global Forum on Network Marketing and Leadership

The College of Accountancy, Business, and Management Education (CABME) of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), in partnership with the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), successfully launched its premier academic enrichment program—CABME Leads: A Semester of Innovation, Leadership, and Global Impact—on July 18, 2025, through the International Symposium on Network Marketing held at the CMC Annex. This kickoff activity brought together 50 selected CABME students for a transformative discussion on network marketing as a contemporary and empowering business model. The initiative, strongly aligned with the institution’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and internationalization, seeks to nurture globally competent, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven student leaders. At the center of the symposium was Ms. Bianca Stanley, guest panelist from Lifestyle Management Group Australia. With three university degrees and over 15 years of experience in corporate leadership across government and private sectors, Ms. Stanley shared her personal journey of pivoting from the corporate world to becoming a global wellness entrepreneur. Her business, which began 12 years ago in the health and fitness sector, now operates in multiple countries with personal investments exceeding $2.5 million USD—a testament to the power of aligning one’s passion with purpose. Joining Ms. Stanley was Mr. Alfe Keith Apalit, an MBA graduate of Ateneo de Davao University and seasoned leader in the network marketing industry. Their engaging panel discussion provided students with actionable insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, branding, and ethical decision-making within the context of direct selling and modern income systems. With the active support of CIAL, the event elevated CMC’s internationalization efforts by incorporating global best practices, entrepreneurial models, and cross-border success stories. The open forum further encouraged students to evaluate innovative income systems and their relevance in today’s evolving market. As the opening salvo of the CABME Leads program, the symposium laid the foundation for a semester of student-led, SDG-aligned, and internationally supported academic activities designed to develop the next generation of business and community leaders. #CABMELeads2025#CMCInternationalization#CIALSupports#NetworkMarketingForum#GlobalLeadership#EntrepreneurshipEducation#SDG4#SDG8#SDG17 #LifeByDesign
