PUPILS ACADEMIC SUCCESS AS PREDICTED BY ENABLING SCHOOL STRUCTURE AND PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT: A CONVERGENT DESIGN

The study was conducted to find out the level of the school structure, parental involvement and the pupil’s academic success, and as well as the relationship of school structure, parental involvement on the pupil’s academic success. This study used a descriptive-correlational design with 300 elementary
teachers in Kidapawan City in Kidapawan North Cotabato. A survey questionnaire was used to gather data on school structure, parental involvement and the pupil’s academic success. The result indicated that there is a high level of school structure, parental involvement and the pupil’s academic success. On
the other hand, both variables school structure, parental involvement have a significant direct effect on the pupil’s academic success. This school structure and parental involvement are the predictors that explained the pupil’s high academic success.
