Glan, Sarangani – Central Mindanao Colleges had its heartfelt tribute “Pasidungog” to Ms. Editha A. Gesmundo. In a simple ceremony, the CMC Team Building event held at Isla Jardin del Mar on July 25-26, 2023, was graced with the recognition of Ms. Gesmundo’s outstanding 36 years of unwavering service and dedication.

Ms. Gesmundo’s long-standing commitment to CMC has been a guiding light for students and colleagues alike. Throughout her tenure, she tirelessly nurtured young minds, creating a culture of learning that will continue to resonate within the CMCian community for years to come.

“Her unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to CMC has been a beacon of inspiration to both students and colleagues alike,” said one of the senior faculty members. “She has left an enduring impact on our institution, and we are deeply grateful for her outstanding contributions.”

In a heartfelt message, Ms. Gesmundo expressed her deep gratitude to CMC, acknowledging not just as her Alma Mater, but also as her beloved employer for the past 36 years. “Lubos kong Pasasalamat sa Central Mindanao Colleges, na hindi ko lamang Alma Mater, kundi ang akin ding Employer. My sincere thanks and gratitude to the Management of CMC. My HOME for 36 years,” she shared.

The ceremony not only celebrated Ms. Gesmundo’s exceptional career but also served as an opportunity for CMC to highlight its commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for both staff and students.

As she embarks on her well-deserved retirement, Ms. Gesmundo leaves behind a legacy of passion, dedication, and service that will continue to inspire generations of learners at Central Mindanao Colleges. With immense pride and appreciation, CMC honors her exceptional journey and wishes her a fulfilling and joyous retirement.

With CMCs rich history celebrated outstanding contributions of individuals like Ms. Editha A. Gesmundo, who have played an integral role in shaping the institution’s character and fostering a culture of excellence.
