Central Mindanao Colleges through the Center for International Affairs and Linkages, the Graduate School Education and the College of Teacher Education signs understanding with Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, Fatoni University and Kanarasdornbumroong Yala School’s English Program and Intensive English Program Department, in a Memorandum of Understanding Virtual Signing Ceremony on November 8, 2022.
Embarking on initiatives that insinuate CMC and BEYOND, the activity mobilizes the realization of fostering integration of internationalization in the higher education. This can be achieved with CMC engaging with Thailand schools and Universities.
The formal proceeding was carried out with the recognition of the different school delegations and presentation of virtual campus tours by all the participating schools. Dr. Gemma N. Kintanar, spearheads with a welcome remarks, and received a response message from the representatives of the participating schools and university. The inking of the Memorandum of Understanding then seals the partnership. The ceremony was concluded with a closing remark given by CMC School President, Dr. Cynthia S. Asuncion.
Anchored in the school VISION and in commemoration of its 75th Jubilee year, Forging Academic Partnership for Internationalization pushes forth. As part of this MOU, schools and universities both in the Philippines and Thailand will collaborate in research and development related to education, teaching, curriculum design, and instruction as well as sharing languages and cultures.
