SALAAMindanao: Conference on Research and Peace Education in Mindanao

In celebration of the Peace Consciousness Month 2023, the Al Qalam Institute of the Ateneo de Davao University (AQI) in partnership with Central Mindanao Colleges-Official (CMC) will be organizing the 2-in-1 𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐀𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 on September 1-2, 2023 at Central Mindanao Colleges, Kidapawan City.

This 2-day conference will feature Peace Researches (Day 1) and Peace Education Interventions (Day 2) in schools and communities of local and international researchers, academic institutions and non-governmental organizations which contribute to the greater cause for sustainable peace and development in Mindanao.

This hybrid event is a component of the KEEP Peace Project: Empowering Mindanaon Youth through Formation, Instruction, Research and Engagement of the Al Qalam Institute with the support of the GIZ – Civil Peace Service (GIZ-CPS). It will gather administrators, faculty and students (preferably SHS, College and Graduate School) of state and private academic institutions as well as officials and volunteers of non-governmental and people’s organizations in Mindanao
