Fourth year Regular and Professional Education students undertaking Field Study subjects from the College of Teacher Education participated in an Orientation and Seminar session on October 7, 2022 at Building 9, Rooms 3-6 at Central Mindanao Colleges.
The joint event, dubbed as “Panag-uban 2.0: Forging Partnership”, was conducted simultaneously in two modalities; In-person and Livestream, to accommodate all student-participants taking into consideration of locations or geographical conditions.
As a requirement prior to their deployment in the respective CMC partners of Cooperating Schools for their Field Study observation, FS students were oriented and clarified on the provisions of the Joint CHED-DepEd Memorandum No. 1, s. 2021, as well as the DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2017. The topics were discussed by the Public and Private Schools Supervisor, Dr. Arnil C. Sambria and the School Governance Operations Division Chief Dr. Marissa T. Bernaldez, respectively.
Part of the program was the awarding of certificates of appreciation to the representatives of the following Cooperating Schools:
Felipe Suerte Memorial Elementary School
Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School
Lanao Central Elementary School
Juan P. Jalipa Memorial National High School
Kalaisan National High School
Kidapawan City National High School
Lanao National High School
Saniel Cruz National High School
Spottswood National High School
The sessions were remarkably fun-filled, informative, and – most of all – eye-opening for the future educators in attendance. It has equipped them with the appropriate information required for a successful deployment journey.
