The Central Mindanao
Colleges Graduate School of Education, through the MA 350 course in
collaboration with the CMC Graduate School of Education Student Council,
successfully conducted "AIducate: A Hands-On Lecture-Workshop on
AI-Enhanced Teaching and Learning for MA 350 Students" on June 20, 2026,
at Kuya Rey's Function Hall.
The activity
introduced MA 350 students to the practical, ethical, and responsible use of
artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. Participants explored AI
tools for lesson planning, instructional material development, differentiated
instruction, assessment design, research, and academic productivity.
Through hands-on
activities, participants developed prompting techniques, evaluated AI-generated
outputs, and identified responsible ways to integrate AI into educational
settings. The workshop supported the Graduate School's commitment to
innovation, academic integrity, and 21st-century teaching and learning.
The activity supports
SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting innovative and inclusive learning, and
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by encouraging the responsible
use of emerging technologies in education.
The successful
conduct of AIducate reflects CMC's continuing effort to prepare educators who
are adaptive, ethical, and digitally competent.
