Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) Graduate School Education (GSE) Dean Dr. Gemma N. Kintanar, has actively participated in discussions on significance of CMO No.15 s. 2019 for Philippine graduate education.
The Philippine Association for Graduate Education (PAGE) has chosen the theme “Adaptive, Innovative, and Responsive: Making Graduate Education Reform Work” for its 54th Annual National Convention and General Assembly, taking place from September 21 to 23, 2023, at the Grand Menseng Hotel in Davao City.
Dr. Kintanar acknowledges the challenges associated with its full implementation but believes it marks a positive shift for graduate education in the country. The CMO No.15 s. 2019 aligns with global trends in adapting curricula to meet future educational demands. To ensure its success, strategies for effective transition within higher education institutions are essential.
This event aims to facilitate discussions among education experts on transition challenges and opportunities; establish resolutions for providing technical assistance to graduate education programs and explore new directions for graduate curriculum reform.
CMC Graduate School Education’s active participation contributes to these important discussions during the convention, which holds great promise for the future of graduate education in the Philippines.
