School Partnerships for Future Educators

Central Mindanao Colleges strengthened its collaboration with basic education institutions as the College of Teacher Education conducted coordination visits to partner Host Training Establishments in preparation for the upcoming deployment of Practice Teachers. The visits underscored CMC’s commitment to ensuring that future educators are guided by meaningful, community rooted training experiences.

 

Partner schools expressed full support for the new batch of Practice Teachers, noting the positive contributions of previous interns who assisted in classroom activities, instructional support, and school programs. School administrators reaffirmed their confidence in CMC’s preparation of future educators and welcomed continued collaboration.

 

Throughout the visits, the College of Teacher Education presented updated deployment guidelines, discussed mentoring responsibilities, and issued official notices of assignment. Conversations focused on the alignment of expectations, daily schedules, competency requirements, and school needs under the active partnership with DepEd Regional Office XII.

 

Practice Teachers will undergo a comprehensive field experience that includes

• preparation of sixteen PPST aligned lesson plans

• six hours of daily presence in their assigned schools

• active participation in classroom instruction, school events, and professional learning opportunities CMC’s partner institutions span both elementary and secondary levels.

 

For Elementary Education: Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School, Felipe Suerte Elementary School, Lanao Central Elementary School, and Jireh Elementary School.

For Secondary and Physical Education programs: Kidapawan City National High School, Spotswood National High School, Santei Cruz National High School, Mancrera Integrated School, Manongol National High School, Lanao National High School, Singao Integrated School, Kalaisan National High School, Jalipa National High School, and the CMC Senior High School.

 

The coordination visits served as a reaffirmation of CMC’s dedication to community engagement and quality teacher preparation. With the strengthening of communication and ensuring readiness at all partner schools, CMC reinforces its mission of producing competent and purpose driven educators. These efforts support global education goals, particularly SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 16 effective institutional practices, and SDG 17 meaningful partnerships for sustainable development.
