Central Mindanao Colleges continues to uphold its commitment to student engagement and inclusive planning as the Center for Student Success (CSS) spearheaded a strategic coordination meeting with key student leaders and institutional offices on July 8, 2025. The gathering served as a vital platform for streamlining preparations and enhancing student-centered support services ahead of the new academic year.
Held at the CMC Accreditation Office, the meeting was attended by representatives from the Center for Guidance Services and Testing (CGST), the Collegiate Student Supreme Council (CSSC), student governors, and members of the Peer Facilitator Family. The consultation aimed to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders and ensure the smooth implementation of programs and services dedicated to the freshmen students of CMC.
Ms. Trisha from the CSS formally welcomed the attendees and opened the floor for meaningful dialogue and insights. Ms. Lovely Cabanlig of CGST highlighted the importance of aligning all efforts with CMC’s values of excellence, service, and student well-being. Attendees actively participated in the discussions, bringing in their respective organizational perspectives and sharing suggestions on enhancing the campus experience for all students.
In his message, Mr. Erolle Linus Miranda, Director of the Institute for Support Services, emphasized the value of coordination, proper planning, and shared responsibility.
“Our role is to ensure that all initiatives are student-focused, inclusive, and aligned with the mission of CMC. Through collaboration, we empower student leaders to be part of meaningful change,” he said.
He also underscored the importance of responsible execution and effective communication across all student organizations.
Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Miranda stressed the need for clarity and unity in leadership.
"Efforts only succeed when everyone moves with one direction, one purpose, and one heart."
This initiative by the Center for Student Success not only reinforced the spirit of partnership among student leaders and institutional offices but also reaffirmed CMC’s commitment to student involvement, excellence, and innovation. As the new academic year begins, the institution stands firm in its dedication to creating a welcoming, well-prepared environment for all freshmen students.
