July 6, 2025 – Kidapawan City, Philippines — With eyes and hearts united, student
assistants of Central Mindanao Colleges gathered for PANAGSADYA 2025: DUYOG KITA,
KASAMA!—a spirited team-building event held at the CMC Student Lounge that echoed
with laughter, purpose, and a renewed sense of community.
Organized by the CMC Kapisanan ng mga Student Assistants na MAasahan (CMC
KASAMA), the event served as a platform for reflection, empowerment, and personal
growth, all while standing in solidarity with the United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals: SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4 – Quality Education, and SDG 8 –
Decent Work and Economic Growth.
Dr. Alex Taguenca, an educator and advocate for inclusive leadership. Dr. Taguenca’s
message resonated deeply, encouraging students to embrace their roles as changemakers
not just within campus walls, but in the greater world beyond.
"Being Student Assistant is not just about being duties—it’s about lifting one another toward
our shared goals,” Dr. Taguenca emphasized. His talk challenged the student assistants to
lead with empathy, grow with intention, and act with courage.
The event filled with engaging activities that strengthened trust, built teamwork, and ignited
the collective spirit of the student assistants, reflecting the theme's deeper call. The event
leaves more than memories—it leaves a movement of young leaders who are ready to
shine as torchbearers of health, education, and equality.
