Leadership is not merely seen in authority, but in the courage
to initiate change, align people toward a common vision, and move an
institution forward with purpose.
Under the leadership of Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna, Vice
President for Academic Affairs, the Office of the VPAA continues to strengthen
institutional coordination through proactive academic leadership initiatives
focused on policy review, operational alignment, curriculum responsiveness,
quality assurance, and data-driven academic governance.
Through the recently convened College Management Council
Meeting held on May 6, 2026 at the CMC Accreditation Room, academic leaders,
deans, directors, and institutional stakeholders gathered to discuss essential
institutional directions and collaborative strategies for Academic Year
2026–2027.
The initiative reinforced a unified commitment toward
excellence, accountability, innovation, and responsive educational leadership.
Among the major highlights of the meeting were discussions on
curriculum updates, academic operational concerns, institutional reporting, and
strategic preparations aligned with the College’s continuing pursuit of quality
education and organizational excellence.
The leadership of Dr. Dela Cerna reflects a vision grounded in
action, collaboration, and transformative academic stewardship, ensuring that
Central Mindanao Colleges remains adaptive, future-ready, and deeply committed
to student success and institutional growth.
As CMC continues to strengthen its academic systems and
institutional vision, the College also opens greater opportunities for future
learners who seek quality, relevance, and transformative education.
This is more than enrollment. This is entering a community
shaped by visionary leadership, academic excellence, innovation, and a culture
committed to helping every learner rise, lead, and succeed.
