Central
Mindanao Colleges (CMC), through its Center for Job Placement (CJP), warmly
welcomed seven (7) student interns from the University of Southern Mindanao
Kidapawan City Campus (USM KCC), College of Technology, as part of its
continued commitment to fostering academic collaboration and practical learning
experiences.
The
interns officially commenced their internship on April 7, 2026, and are set to
complete a total of 240 hours over a six (6)-week period. Throughout their
stay, they will be deployed to designated offices within the institution, where
they are expected to gain hands-on experience aligned with their respective
fields of specialization under the supervision of the Center for Job Placement.
As
part of their initial engagement, the interns conducted a courtesy visit to the
Office of the School President. The visit served as an opportunity for the
interns to formally introduce themselves, express their gratitude for the
opportunity, and gain insights from the leadership of the institution. The
School President warmly received the group, offering words of encouragement and
emphasizing the importance of discipline, professionalism, and continuous
learning throughout their internship journey.
Aligned
with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this initiative
supports SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting experiential learning
opportunities and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by preparing students
for the professional workforce through practical training and institutional
collaboration.
CMC,
through the Center for Job Placement, remains steadfast in its mission to
support student development by providing a conducive environment for
experiential learning. Through partnerships like this, the institution
continues to contribute to the preparation of future professionals equipped
with the skills and values needed in their chosen careers.
