CMC BPED Students Take Their Classroom to SRAA 2026

Why settle for classroom theory when you can experience the real game?

At Central Mindanao Colleges, learning goes beyond lectures. Bachelor of Physical Education students stepped into the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Athletic Association Meet 2026, immersing themselves in one of the region’s biggest sporting events and transforming knowledge into real world skills.

The event officially opened on April 7, 2026, in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, gathering thousands of athletes and coaches across the region. The moment became even more inspiring as Hidilyn Diaz lit the ceremonial torch, igniting not just the games, but the dreams of future sports professionals.

This is the CMC difference. Instead of just studying sports, CMC students live it. They observe real competitions, engage with athletes, analyze event flow, and experience how large scale sporting events are managed. Every moment becomes a learning opportunity. Every experience builds confidence.

Through interviews, documentation, and on site engagement, students develop communication skills, leadership, and professional readiness. These are not just lessons. These are career defining experiences.

Backed by the support of the City Division of Kidapawan, this initiative reflects strong partnerships that open doors for students to grow, explore, and excel. As emphasized by Program Head Mr. Ranel C. Mamon, MAEd-PE, “Experiential learning allows our students to transform knowledge into practice, preparing them to become effective educators and leaders in the field of physical education.”

At CMC, we are committed to giving you more than education. We give you experience, exposure, and an edge. We bring you closer to the field, closer to your goals, and closer to the future you deserve.
If you are dreaming of becoming a Physical Education teacher, coach, or sports leader, this is where your journey begins.

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education by promoting meaningful, practice based learning, SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being by advancing the value of sports and active lifestyles, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and local stakeholders in delivering impactful learning experiences.
