CMC and Research Synergy Foundation Sign MOU for Global Research Collaboration Partnership Today

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) continues to expand its global academic partnerships as it formally signed a Virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Research Synergy Foundation (RSF) on March 13, 2026, marking another milestone in the institution’s commitment to research excellence and internationalization.

The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in the areas of research development, international conferences, scholarly publication, academic networking, and capacity-building initiatives for both faculty members and students.

Through this partnership, CMC is expected to benefit from RSF’s Global Research Ecosystem, which connects scholars, researchers, and academic institutions worldwide through research mentoring programs, peer-review networks, academic publishing platforms, and international conferences.

The collaboration also supports the institution’s efforts to align its graduate programs with the requirements of CHED Memorandum Order No. 21, Series of 2025, which emphasizes research outputs and publication in refereed outlets as key components of quality graduate education.

This partnership is seen to further strengthen CMC’s research culture by providing opportunities for:

• International research collaboration

• Conference presentation opportunities

• Research mentoring and publication support

• Academic writing development programs

• Participation in global scholarly communities

The agreement also opens opportunities for CMC to enhance its institutional research initiatives through the Center for Research and Publication and the Graduate School, particularly in supporting faculty and students in meeting research dissemination and publication requirements.

CMC officials emphasized that this collaboration forms part of the institution’s strategic direction to expand global partnerships and strengthen its contribution to knowledge creation and innovation.

This initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting international academic cooperation and research collaboration.

The signing of the MOU reflects Central Mindanao Colleges’ continuing pursuit of academic excellence through international engagement.
