With
strategic agility and institutional alignment becoming critical to sustainable
growth, the Center for Business Innovations and Development convened a two-day
strategic review on January 21 to 22, 2026 at the boardroom to evaluate
initiatives, strengthen development priorities, and guide innovation planning.
The
review provided a comprehensive evaluation of the Center’s ongoing initiatives,
operational priorities, and development frameworks. Key discussions focused on
assessing program effectiveness, identifying areas for enhancement, and
ensuring that innovation strategies remain aligned with institutional goals and
emerging business needs.
The
session was led by Mr. Gianne Carlos Q. Pascual, Head of the Center for
Innovation and Business Development (CIBD). The initiative was conducted with
governance monitoring and guidance from Dr. Victor G. Quiambao, Jr., and
further supplemented by academic direction and inputs from the Vice President
for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna, to ensure alignment with
academic and institutional priorities.
Outcomes
of the review included refined strategic directions, strengthened
implementation plans, and reinforced collaboration across development
initiatives. The process highlighted the Center’s role in driving innovation,
supporting organizational growth, and delivering value through structured
business development efforts.
The
strategic review supports SDG 9 through innovation and infrastructure
development, SDG 8 by promoting sustainable economic growth, and SDG 16 through
strengthened institutional planning, accountability, and governance.
Through
disciplined review and forward-looking strategy, the Center for Business
Innovations and Development continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for
innovation, institutional growth, and sustainable development.
The
Center for Business Innovations and Development advances organizational
performance through strategic planning, innovation initiatives, and structured
development programs designed to support long-term growth and institutional
resilience.
