When a community chooses respect, violence
loses its power.
In
alignment with the official memo released on November 25, 2025 by the CMC
Gender and Development Office and approved and signed by the School President,
Dr. Cynthia S. Asuncion, Central Mindanao Colleges calls the entire academic
community to unite in the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women.
This
national advocacy, observed from November 25 to December 12, strengthens our
shared duty to protect dignity, uphold equality, and build an environment where
every individual feels safe, valued, and respected.
As
emphasized in the memo, everyone is encouraged to wear orange every Friday as a
bold and visible stand against violence. Orange symbolizes hope, visibility,
and the promise of a brighter future free from fear.
Let
us demonstrate our unity and commitment on November 28, December 5, and
December 12, 2025, choosing orange as our declaration of support and choosing
respect as our everyday practice.
Together,
we fortify the culture of excellence and compassion that inspires many to
Choose CMC.
