SYNERGY CONVERGENCE: Student and Alumni Legacy Project for a Stronger CMC

Great institutions grow when their people choose to build something meaningful together.

Synergy Convergence brought together the dynamic leadership of CMC student organizations and the heartfelt commitment of its alumni community in a unified effort to build a legacy for future generations. Spearheaded by the Center for Alumni Affairs and convened by Mr. Jerson John Villegas, Alumni Coordinator, together with dedicated alumni members, the initiative reflected the spirit of collaboration and unity that defines Central Mindanao Colleges.

Held on November 29, 2025, the gathering welcomed student leaders to envision and articulate the foundation for the CMC Student Commons Lounge Area, a future space intended to nurture connection, collaboration, and community. The initiative was built not out of urgency but out of purpose, pride, and the shared desire to create a meaningful legacy that future CMCians will enjoy and remember.

The event highlighted the powerful role of alumni engagement in transforming ideas into lasting impact. Their support strengthened the vision for a space where students can gather, grow, and thrive together. Synergy Convergence demonstrated what the CMC community can achieve when students and alumni unite toward a common goal.

The project aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education, SDG 11 Sustainable Communities, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals by fostering collaborative growth, shared responsibility, and an inclusive environment that supports learner development.

CMC extends its appreciation to all student leaders and alumni who participated in this meaningful initiative. Through collective action and shared purpose, Synergy Convergence laid the groundwork for a stronger, more connected, and future-ready CMC.

Let us continue to build this legacy. Let us uplift the next generation.

CHOOSE CMC, where leaders are shaped, communities are strengthened, and legacies are built to last.
