CHED Recognizes Central Mindanao Colleges in ICON Awards for Internationalization

Central Mindanao Colleges proudly marks a transformative milestone as it secures a place in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025, earning a 1501+ placement among global institutions. This achievement affirms CMC’s deep commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative academic programs, impactful research, and community-driven initiatives, solidifying its role as a catalyst for sustainability and social transformation.

This prestigious recognition was formally awarded by CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis during the CHED ICON Awards 2025, held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) last December 10, 2025. Representing the institution, CHED Region XII Regional Director Dr. Rody P. Garcia, MDM, Ed.D., JD, accepted the honor on behalf of CMC. The moment underscored the strong collaboration between CMC and CHED in advancing internationalization efforts and elevating higher education excellence across SOCCSKSARGEN.
