AKAI CMC Junior Team Secures Podium Finishes at Kalivungan Karate

The AKAI CMC Junior Team delivered strong podium finishes at the Kalivungan Karate Tournament, showcasing the promise of CMC’s younger athletes across kata and kumite events.

Leading the junior delegation was Jefferson Dei Madrid, who captured Gold in the 8–9 Years Old Advanced Kata, demonstrating technical control, focus, and confidence in competition.

Kristmer Esguerra secured Bronze in the 8–9 Years Old Beginners Kata and another Bronze in the 8–9 Years Old Kumite, reflecting developing versatility across both forms and sparring.

Meanwhile, Arch Caezus Espenorio earned Bronze in the 8–9 Years Old Kumite, while Neriah Marsel Tapia also secured Bronze in the 8–9 Years Old Kumite, adding to the junior team’s medal haul.
