CMC CIAL Joins Project PIVOT 7 to Explore AI-Driven Internationalization

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), through the Center for International Affairs and Linkages (CIAL), actively participated in the 7th Session of Project PIVOT (Partnerships for International Visibility and Organizational Transformation) on July 16, 2026, reaffirming the institution's commitment to advancing internationalization through innovation, strategic collaboration, and emerging technologies. The virtual engagement brought together Philippine Higher Education Institutions to explore transformative approaches that are shaping the future of global higher education.

The session featured Ms. Christine Zhou, Deputy Director for International Business and Cooperation of Xinwei AI under the Geely Talent Development Group, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on "Xinwei AI's Partnership Model for Higher Education Internationalization." Her discussion highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence in strengthening international academic cooperation through intelligent education solutions, personalized learning pathways, industry-academe collaboration, and global talent development initiatives designed to prepare institutions and learners for the demands of a rapidly evolving world.

Beyond introducing innovative AI-powered solutions, the session emphasized the growing importance of establishing strategic international partnerships that enable higher education institutions to expand their global reach, enhance institutional competitiveness, and foster collaborative ecosystems that integrate education, technology, research, and industry.
