Central Mindanao
Colleges (CMC) continues to advance its internationalization agenda through the
formalization of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharda University
Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, marking another significant milestone in the
institution’s commitment to global academic engagement and international
collaboration.
The partnership
establishes a framework for cooperation between the two institutions in the
areas of education, research, faculty development, student mobility, academic
exchange, and intercultural learning. Through this agreement, both institutions
affirm their shared commitment to fostering academic excellence, innovation,
and meaningful international partnerships that contribute to the advancement of
higher education.
Representing Central
Mindanao Colleges in the partnership is Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna, Vice
President for Academic Affairs, while officials from Sharda University Agra
signed on behalf of their institution. The collaboration reflects the mutual vision
of both institutions to strengthen global academic linkages and create
opportunities that benefit students, faculty members, researchers, and academic
leaders.
The Memorandum of
Understanding is expected to facilitate a wide range of collaborative
initiatives, including joint research projects, international conferences,
faculty and student exchange programs, virtual learning engagements, academic
networking activities, and other scholarly endeavors that promote knowledge
sharing and cross-cultural understanding.
Aligned with the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the partnership supports SDG 4:
Quality Education by promoting inclusive and high-quality learning
opportunities through international academic cooperation. It likewise advances
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening global networks that foster
innovation, knowledge exchange, and sustainable institutional development.
The collaboration
