On May 14, 2026, via Zoom, the Center for International Affairs
and Linkages (CIAL) of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) successfully conducted
an exploratory meeting with BINUS University under the Business Management
Program, represented by Ms. Bryna Meivitawanli, as part of CMC’s continuing
commitment to building meaningful international partnerships and fostering
global academic engagement.
The meeting served as an avenue for both institutions to
formally introduce their respective organizations, academic structures, and
institutional directions. Through a productive exchange of ideas, both parties
explored the diverse programs and initiatives offered by each institution,
highlighting areas of strength and identifying potential opportunities for
collaboration.
The discussion further focused on several strategic areas where
future partnerships may be developed, particularly in research collaboration,
international mobility programs, community extension initiatives, academic
exchanges, capacity-building activities, and other mutually beneficial
endeavors aligned with the goals of internationalization and sustainable
educational development.
The exploratory dialogue reflects a shared commitment to
promoting innovation, intercultural understanding, and academic excellence
beyond geographical boundaries. Such engagements open pathways for
collaborative opportunities that can enrich learning experiences, strengthen
institutional capabilities, and create platforms for students, faculty,
researchers, and stakeholders to participate in broader global initiatives.
Representing Central Mindanao Colleges during the meeting were
Kenny Lloyd Angon, Life Gabriel Osumo, Mark Rey Ampuan, and Desiree D.
Gayramara.
As CMC continues to expand its international networks, the
institution remains steadfast in its pursuit of building transformative
partnerships that contribute to academic growth, social responsibility, and
global competitiveness. This exploratory meeting signifies another meaningful
step toward establishing collaborative relationships that may pave the way for
future initiatives and impactful international engagements.
