Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), through the Center for Student
Success, recognized four graduating student leaders as recipients of the
Leadership Excellence Award during the CMC Commencement Exercises 2026 held on
April 23 to 24, 2026 at the Kidapawan City Gymnasium, carrying the theme,
“Committed to Excellence, Motivated by Purpose, Called to Lead.”
The Leadership Excellence Award is conferred to student leaders
who have demonstrated consistent dedication in representing the student body
and serving as the student voice through years of leadership involvement and
organizational service.
Awardees underwent a thorough screening and evaluation process
that began with application and document submission, followed by review and
deliberation, and culminated in a final interview. Candidates from the
different programs were assessed based on their verified accomplishments across
key areas including community service, internationalization, research
involvement, and academic performance.
The recognition highlights CMC’s commitment to honoring student
leaders who embody integrity, responsibility, and active service. According to
the Ms. Trisha Karl Rellon, Center for Student Success Officer, the award
affirms that leadership is not measured by title, but by the impact created
through meaningful actions and consistent dedication.
The four recipients of the Leadership Excellence Award are:
Ariane Grace F. Banais
Romelyn E. Reyes
Joreline Bayoy
Maria Desiree Alyssa Estandarte
CMC commended the awardees for their discipline, passion, and
lasting contributions to the institution, noting that their leadership has
strengthened campus initiatives and inspired fellow students to lead with
purpose.
As CMC celebrates the graduates of Batch 2026, the institution
continues to uphold its mission of producing future leaders who are committed
to excellence, motivated by purpose, and prepared to serve with impact.
