Central
Mindanao Colleges (CMC) Graduate School, in collaboration with the Center for
Student Success, held ConSEEKcrate 2026: A Faith-Centered Recollection on March
8, 2026, at CMC Building 9 for its Master of Arts in Education (MAEd)
graduating students. With the theme “Forming Conscious, Mindful, and Committed
CMC Graduates,” the event offered 294 graduating students a reflective space to
pause, renew, and prepare intentionally for life beyond college.
The
recollection provided students with an opportunity to consider their academic
achievements alongside personal values, moral responsibility, and future
purpose. Activities included guided reflections, sharing sessions, and moments
of silent contemplation, helping participants deepen their awareness, practice
empathy, and strengthen ethical decision-making.
Through
collaboration among institutional offices, the initiative highlighted the
integration of faith, character development, and educational excellence central
to CMC’s mission.
The
event also supports several Sustainable Development Goals by promoting
holistic, values-based education. It promotes emotional resilience and
reflective self-awareness in line with SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-Being. It
strengthens character formation alongside academic growth, contributing to SDG
4 on Quality Education. By promoting respect, dignity, and inclusivity among
students, it advances SDG 5 on Gender Equality and SDG 10 on Reduced
Inequalities. The recollection also encourages integrity and ethical
responsibility, supporting SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions,
and demonstrates institutional collaboration aligned with SDG 17 on
Partnerships for the Goals.
As
a meaningful culmination of the graduate school experience, the recollection
ensured that graduating students leave CMC not only with academic credentials
but also with strengthened character, spiritual grounding, and a renewed
commitment to purposeful living. The initiative affirms the institution’s
belief that true success combines achievement with integrity, preparing
graduates to shape the future with conscience, mindfulness, and commitment.
