Exemplary
leadership in criminology education is defined by the ability of seasoned
professionals to extend their influence beyond their own institutions, uphold
academic standards, and safeguard the integrity of the field.
Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC)
demonstrates this commitment through the distinguished role of Dr. Rolando D.
Poblador as an accreditor in an accreditation activity conducted by the
Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities Accrediting
Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI).
Designated by ACSCU-ACI
Executive Director Angelito P. Pedreño, Dr. Poblador is currently participating
in a face-to-face accreditation visit at Metro Manila College in Novaliches,
Quezon City, from February 9 to 13, 2026. The ongoing resurvey evaluates the
Master of Science in Criminology program, reflecting his professional
competence, dedication, and leadership in criminology education.
This accreditation engagement
underscores the value of inter-institutional collaboration and promotes a
culture of excellence without borders, where academic expertise transcends
institutional and geographic boundaries. Through this shared commitment, Christian
higher education institutions collectively uphold academic excellence and
adherence to established standards.
Dr. Poblador is actively
involved in reviewing academic documents, validating instructional and
administrative practices, and engaging in professional consultations with
administrators and faculty members. These activities follow a structured
process of orientation, document evaluation, on-site validation, and an exit
conference.
The use of faculty expertise in
accreditation activities strengthens criminology education across institutions
while reinforcing CMC’s commitment to quality assurance and academic
leadership. Dr. Poblador’s participation further affirms the institution’s
proactive role in advancing academic standards and institutional development,
demonstrating that true excellence is achieved through collaboration beyond
campus boundaries.
Aligned with the Sustainable
Development Goals, this engagement supports SDG 4 (Quality Education),
strengthens SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and advances SDG
17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration, accountability, and shared
progress in higher education.
Central Mindanao Colleges
remains steadfast in championing innovative curricula, faculty leadership, and
transformative partnerships that advance academic excellence without borders.
CHOOSE CMC. Excellence without
borders.
Leadership with purpose.
