The foundation of effective teaching
begins with clarity of purpose and readiness for real-world practice.
On
January 24, 2026, Central Mindanao Colleges, through its College of Teacher
Education, conducted another ExCEED 2026 session, reinforcing its commitment to
shaping future educators who are prepared, reflective, and grounded in
professional standards.
The
activity provided education students with a structured space to assess their
current competencies, recognize areas for growth, and align their skills with
actual classroom demands. Discussions emphasized professional mindset,
adaptability, and continuous learning as essential attributes of educators
responding to diverse and evolving learning environments.
Anchored
on CMC’s vision of Excellence Without Borders, ExCEED 2026 affirms the
institution’s outcomes-based approach to teacher education, ensuring that
learning extends beyond theory and into meaningful classroom application.
The
initiative contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,
particularly SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong
Institutions, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals, through ethical leadership
formation and collaborative educator development.
