preparing individuals for in demand careers cannot be overstated. Central
Mindanao Colleges (CMC), in collaboration with the Technical Education and
Skills Development Authority (TESDA), stands at the forefront of equipping the
community with essential tools for success.
On
April 24, 2024, CMC TESDA has been officially recognized as an Assessment
Center for Computer System Servicing National Certificate II (NC II). This
accreditation not only represents a milestone in the institution's commitment
to quality education but also signifies its dedication to excellence in
training and assessment.
The
accreditation process involved an inspection by representatives from the
Philippine Training Competencies Assessment and Certification System (PTCACS).
Led by PTCACS Regional Focal George Lemuel S. Sarao, the team thoroughly
examined CMC TESDA's facilities to ensure they met the stringent standards set
for assessment centers.
This
comprehensive review encompassed computer units, laboratories, tools, and
equipment utilized for training purposes. Furthermore, the PTCACS team
scrutinized documents and qualifications submitted by CMC TESDA, confirming
their adherence to established criteria.
Mr.
Robert Nico P. Bautista, Assessment Center Manager of CMC TESDA, expressed
satisfaction with the accreditation, stating, "We are delighted to receive
this recognition. It enables us to provide our students with the opportunity to
earn a nationally recognized certification in computer system servicing,
thereby enhancing their prospects in the IT industry."
Moreover,
CMC TESDA's Assessment Center accreditation empowers CMC to offer students the
chance to earn a nationally recognized certification in computer system
servicing. The NC II certification holds significant value within the CMC
community, denoting a graduate's proficiency in computer hardware
troubleshooting and repair. Attaining this certification not only reflects the
commitment to quality education upheld by CMC TESDA but also highlights CMCs
dedication to promoting excellence in its students.
With
this accreditation, CMC TESDA is now equipped to conduct competency assessments
for individuals who have completed training in computer system servicing.
The
recognition of CMC TESDA as an Assessment Center for Computer System Servicing
NC II marks a positive milestone for both the institution and the wider CMC
community, further reinforcing its commitment to providing quality education
