Exciting Community Collaboration Underway

March 9, 2024 - In a heartwarming display of partnership and commitment to community development, CMC-CTE and Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School have joined forces!   Teaming up with the Center for Social Action Office and CTE NSTP students, they've embarked on an inspiring initiative. Together, they're kickstarting preliminary activities aimed at enhancing and improving the Gulayan sa Paaralan at Kidapawan City Pilot Elementary School.   This collaborative effort signifies a strong dedication to extending community extension programs and fostering sustainable growth.   We extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Noemi Cawagas, KCPES Principal and Ms. Maricris Arao-arao, who facilitated the connection between CMC and KCPES, and also to Mr. Richard P. Padonia, Mr. Richard T. Initan and Mr. Mark Julius O. Bola, the driving force behind the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program at KCPES.

Groundbreaking unites tradition, vision, and community for sustainable campus growth.

C – ConstructingM– Milestones for aC– Connected Future Kidapawan City, July 10, 2025 — At the CMC Annex, Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) launched “Illuminating the Paths of Hope”, the ceremonial laying of the first electrical post, symbolizing the rise of two enduring structures: The Powerhouse, a future hub for energy and innovation, and The Pathways, a network of roads and walkways that will shape campus life for generations. Held on the eve of Madame Esperanza Abellera Sabulao’s birthday, the event was steeped in Filipino tradition through barya sa lupa (coin offering) and padugo (blood ritual) to bless the land. The milestone was made possible through the unwavering support of CMC’s active and supportive stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Principals, Deans, Program Heads, Institute and Center Heads, Administrators, Faculty Members, and Student Leaders, whose unity and commitment reflect the strength of the CMC community.Dr. Victor G. Quiambao Jr., Vice President for Administration, presented the CMC Annex Campus Development Plan, a strategic and sustainable vision featuring an Academic Core, a Student Life Zone, and expansive Open Fields. Every structure will dedicate 10% of its footprint to green space. Aligned with SDGs 4, 9, 11, 13, and 15, the plan ensures that CMC’s growth is both future-ready and environmentally responsible. A dedication plaque unveiled on site immortalized Madame Sabulao’s vision: “In the hearts of the youth, education ignites a flame, illuminating paths of hope and boundless possibilities.”This is more than a groundbreaking. It is a shared promise. With purpose in its foundation and people at its core, CMC calls on future leaders to CHOOSE CMC, where legacy inspires progress and education is built to last.By: Erolle Linus T.
