The College of Civil Engineering Education (CCEE) of Central Mindanao Colleges celebrated the successful completion of its studentsโ internship journey through CElebration 2025, held on August 7, 2025 at the CMC Studentsโ Activity Center. Carrying the theme โBridging Dreams: A Celebration of Resilience and Aspiration,โ the event recognized the hard work, adaptability, and learning experiences gained by CCEE students during their third-year summer internship.
Now entering their 4th year, first semester, the students looked back on the hands-on training that allowed them to apply classroom knowledge in real engineering settings. The culmination program highlighted not only the technical skills they acquired but also the values of discipline, collaboration, and problem-solving โ all essential for future engineers.
Delivering the keynote address, Engr. Nikko M. Lalaguna shared valuable insights on resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning in the engineering profession. He reminded students that internships are not just a requirement but a vital bridge between academic learning and the real demands of the industry.
The program featured presentations of internship highlights, awarding of certificates, and expressions of gratitude to partner companies and institutions for their support in providing meaningful on-the-job experiences.
CElebration 2025 reaffirmed CCEEโs commitment to preparing its students for professional excellence, ensuring they are equipped not only with technical competence but also with the confidence and mindset to face the challenges of their remaining college years and future careers.
