Student leaders from various departments and colleges of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) gathered on July 23, 2025, for a preparatory meeting for the upcoming acquaintance parties. The meeting was facilitated by the Center for Student Success, with the objective of guiding student leaders in organizing their respective acquaintance events in line with institutional standards. In attendance were college governors, department governors, and other key student officers. Each college and department will hold its own acquaintance party separately. These events are designed to welcome new students, strengthen peer relationships, and promote a sense of belonging within their academic units. While each unit is encouraged to incorporate its own creative approach, all plans must adhere to school policies and safety protocols. The meeting covered key areas such as event scheduling, budget management, safety measures, and program coordination. Emphasis was placed on responsible leadership and effective planning to ensure organized, inclusive, and meaningful events. CMC recognizes the value of student-led activities that build community and encourage personal and social development.
