The
Center for Student Success (CSS) of Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC), under the
Institute for Support Services (ISS), supported alumnus Denzel John H.
Villaver, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science graduate, in his
participation at the Rainbow Youth Academy (RYA) Bootcamp held in Manila from
April 27–30, 2026.
Organized
by the Philippine Financial and Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), the four-day
program advanced leadership development and LGBTQIA+ workplace inclusion
through intensive learning sessions, industry engagement, and corporate
immersion. Scholars were exposed to leading organizations including Northern
Trust, Sun Life, Macquarie, FactSet, Accenture, and Nestlé, gaining firsthand
perspectives on inclusive workplace practices and global professional
standards.
The
bootcamp concluded with a graduation ceremony honoring the scholars’ successful
completion of the program and readiness for emerging opportunities in
leadership and industry practice.
“CSS
ensures that our learners, even beyond graduation, continue to experience the
guidance and support of CMC,” said CSS Officer Ms. Trisha Karl Rellon. “When we
invest in our alumni’s growth, we also strengthen the future of the
institution.”
This
engagement reinforces CMC’s commitment to inclusive excellence and
transformative education, aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender
Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the
Goals).
Villaver,
who officially graduated on April 23, 2026, marked his participation in the
bootcamp as a defining step in his transition from student to emerging educator
and professional leader.
CMC
does not just graduate students, it nurtures leaders for a more inclusive and
global future.
Be
