Central
Mindanao Colleges successfully conducted “MarkEthics: A Program on Respect and
Responsibility in Business and Customer Relations” on April 25, 2026 at CMC
Annex. The program reinforced the role of values driven decision making in
modern business practices.
The
initiative responded to the growing demand for ethical competence in an
interconnected business environment where trust, transparency, and
accountability define long term success. Participants explored the principles
of respect and responsibility as foundational elements in ethical marketing and
customer relations.
Highlighting
the program was Archee B. Garcia, CHRA, MBA, who delivered an in depth
discussion on ethical marketing strategies, emphasizing honesty, fairness, and
responsible communication in engaging consumers. Through lecture discussions,
open forums, and interactive workshops, students gained practical insights into
applying ethical principles in real world business scenarios.
The
program also provided a platform for critical reflection, enabling students to
examine how ethical values influence business decisions, customer trust, and
organizational reputation. The integration of applied learning activities
strengthened participants’ ability to evaluate marketing practices and develop
responsible engagement strategies.
Aligned
with Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education and Sustainable
Development Goal 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, the initiative promotes
ethical awareness, professional integrity, and sustainable business practices
