About the Program
The Bachelor of Business Administration Program (Major in Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management) is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to prepare students for successful careers in various business fields.
Under CMO 17, s. 2017, these three (3) distinct majors are clearly explained as:
1. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource Management (HRM)
The HRM Program prepares graduates for a career in the HR Department of any organization handling the many diverse human capital requirements of the organization including the recruitment, staffing training and career development.
2. Bachelor Science in Business Administration Major Marketing Management (MM)
The MM program prepares the graduate for careers in marketing, market research, advertising, and public relations. The curriculum provides the graduate with both technical skills and competencies required in the field but also the flexible mindset that is necessary to stay competitive in a constantly changing business environment.
3. Bachelor Science in Business Administration Major Financial Management (FM)
The FM program prepares the graduates for various careers in FM as well as in related fields including but not limited to corporate finance, investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance, foreign currency markets, money markets, capital markets, and other financial securities markets. The curriculum provides the graduates with knowledge on financial institutions and technical skills based on established financial theories, methodologies, and various analytical tools. It also promotes an outlook that is based primarily on ethics, market integrity regulations, good governance and competitive global perspective necessary for effective financial decision making.
ACCOUNTING RELATED PROGRAMS
The Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA) is a four-year degree program that deals to improve knowledge and skills in management for the students. It includes discussions on the systems, procedures, and policies relevant to company management and decisions. Managerial accounting encompasses many facets of accounting, including product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and various financial analysis.
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems (BSAIS) is a four-year degree program that provides general accounting education to students wanting to pursue a professional career in Accounting Information Systems. This profession combines a general business background focusing on management information systems and accounting to prepare students for specialized careers in accounting, auditing, consulting, business analysis, and management.
The Bachelor of Science in Internal Auditing (BSIA) is a four-year program which provides general accounting education to learners wanting to pursue a professional career in Internal Auditing. It helps the student safeguard organizations by analyzing compliance, risk, and potential. They examine company documents and data to identify issues like regulatory noncompliance, data inaccuracies, and employee theft. Students help to learn how to prepare, perform, report, and close an audit. It is ideal for new auditors, those preparing to be on an audit team.
The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship is a four-year degree program which centers on how to start and manage a business by combining management, accounting, finance, and marketing principles.
