About the Program
The College of Teacher Education of Central Mindanao Colleges started in 1946 as Teachers’ College offering elementary and secondary programs and is considered as one of the flagship programs of Central Mindanao Colleges.
Over the years, the College has continuously provided quality education to prospective elementary and secondary school teachers as evidenced by its performance in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) which has always been above the national passing average. In 2015, the College has produced the TOP 1 in the March 2015 licensure examination. Again, the College has produced top 7 in the September 2018, and Top 10 in September 2019 licensure examination.
To ensure that the institution is providing excellent education and producing competent graduates, the College of Teacher Education has voluntarily submitted itself for accreditation to determine its present capacity by means of self-evaluation.
Currently, our programs under the College of Teacher Education were granted Level III (5 Years) status by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI). And true to its commitment to promote quality education, efforts are directed to conformance in its attempt to acquire Level III Accreditation Status.
