AND PROGRAM HEADS VISIT THE CHED OFFICE 12
College
Deans and Program Heads of Central Mindanao Colleges paid a visit to the
Regional Office of the Commission on Higher Education at Barangay Carpenter
Hill, AH26 Marbel, Koronadal City on August 16, 2022. The said visit was
conducted mainly for the purpose of Curriculum Review and Validation in
preparation for the opening of classes for the Academic year 2022-2023.
The
delegation from CMC was accommodated by RO-XII CHED officials headed by the
Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin who later conducted an on-site visit at
CMC.
Our
school representatives presented the curriculum being implemented subject for
review and validation whether the current curriculum is still applicable and
effective for the teaching and learning of the CMC community.
Representatives
of the school during the visit were deans; Dr. Rolando D. Poblador (College of
Criminal Justice Education), Dr. Jaymie A. Rellon (College of Teacher
Education) together with his Secretary Mr. Christian B. Melaño, Dr. Gemma N.
Kintanar (Graduate School), Dr. Maria Regina E. Carlos (College of Accounting,
Business and Management Education) and Ms. Shenna Jean M. Riola (College of
Computing Education). They were accompanied also by the different Program
Heads; Dr. Fidel B. Ladra (Bachelor of Elementary Education), Mrs. Maria Fe B.
Doong, (Bachelor of Secondary Education) and Mr. Ranel B. Mamon (Bachelor of
Physical Education).
Consequently,
during the Departmental Orientation of the CTE Faculty and Staff on September
6, 2022. Mrs. Maria Fe B. Doong, Program Head of the Bachelor of Secondary
Education (BSEd) shared updates on the Revised Curriculum and its Prerequisites
being the main agenda for the day. She mentioned also that the office of the
CTE is always open to address issues and concerns of the teachers and students.
