CTE Alumnus Vhon Samson Visits Central Mindanao Colleges
Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) is delighted to announce the visit of Mr. Von Jovie Kier Samson, a distinguished alumnus of the CMC College of Teacher Education, on April 19, 2023, at the CMC Campus.
Mr. Samson is a respected educator and currently serves as a faculty member at Kanarasdornbumroong Yala School in Thailand, where he teaches English Language.
During his time at CMC, Mr. Samson demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and academic excellence, which earned him the Esperanza Abellera Sabulao Leadership Award. He was also an active student leader and a talented actor at CMC Teatro Pawan. It is worth noting that he was a self-supporting student, and a student scholar, and managed to balance his hosting career with his academics.
In recognition of his impressive accomplishments and international experience, Mr. Samson is an active supporter of the CMC Center for Internationalization and Linkages Office in fostering international collaborations. His extensive teaching experience and exceptional skills make him an ideal resource for both students and faculty.
The CMCian community is thrilled to have Mr. Samson share his invaluable insights and expertise during his visit. His presence will undoubtedly provide students with a unique opportunity to learn from one of their own and gain valuable knowledge about the world of education beyond the borders of the Philippines.
Mr. Samson’s visit is a testament to the quality of education and the caliber of graduates that CMC produces.
We are proud to welcome him back to his alma mater and look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly have in our CMCian community.
