ABOUT THE COURSE
CMCs BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Central Mindanao Colleges BS in Computer Science is a 4-year degree program that focuses on the study of computer algorithms and its implementation through computer software and hardware.

It also equips students with proficiency in designing, writing and developing computer programs and computer networks; as well as intricacies of software, data processing, web development, programming and computer architecture.

CMCs BS Computer Science Program includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations and new developments I computing.

The program prepares students to design and create algorithmically complex software and develop new and effective algorithms for solving computing problems.

The program also includes the study of standards and practices in Software Engineering.

 DRAW upon foundational knowledge, learn, adapt and successfully bring to bear analytical and computational approaches on changing societal and technological challenges.
 COLLABORATE as a leader and a responsible citizen whose strengths come from an ability to draw on and contribute to diverse teams, expertise and experiences.
 UNDERSTAND AND RESPECT the professional standards of ethics expected of computer scientists and software engineers and appreciate the social impact of computing, and possess the skills necessary for life-long learning.

  CMC College of Computing Education is a proud member of The Philippine Society of Information Technology Students-Region XII. The society aims to establish an organization whose purposes are; to serve as education venue on issues regarding IT; to protect and preserve student’s solidarity, and to embody the ideas of the organization in promoting academic excellence.
  CMC College of Computing Education is also a member of The Philippines Society of Information Technology Educators Foundation, Inc. PSITE is an organization composed of academic institutions, IT program heads, faculty members, corporate members, and IT graduate students.
