CMC Women Student Athletes Participate Promoting Women Empowerment

The Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) Sports Team comprised of CMCian women at the
tertiary level has actively participated in the Women’s Intercollegiate Sports Tournament held at Amas, Capitol, Kidapawan City on March 03, 2023, as part of the Women’s Month celebration.

Our CMCian student women athletes wore purple to show their support for gender equality and women’s empowerment, highlighting the significance of the event. The Provincial Governor’s Office-Population and Gender Development Division of North Cotabato spearheaded the event to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment.

CMC’s participation in the tournament emphasizes its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, recognizing that women have the right to equal opportunities and rights in society.

The Women’s Intercollegiate Sports Tournament and CMC Sports Team’s active involvement are a testament to the progress made in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in the Philippines.
