CMC Participates National Hearing on Undergrad SIAP Guidelines

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) has actively participated in the public consultation on the revised policies, standards, and guidelines for the undergraduate Student Internship Abroad Program.

On April 13, 2023, CMC deans, program and unit heads, representatives, faculty in charge of internships, and student representatives attended the event through an online platform provided by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The consultation aimed to gather insights and recommendations from public and private higher education institutions to improve or amend the draft provisions of the policies, standards, and guidelines. The objective was to ensure that the program’s goals are achieved while safeguarding the welfare of student interns abroad and providing comprehensive coverage.

By participating in the public consultation, CMC has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to providing its students with high-quality internship programs and ensuring their safety and welfare while pursuing their academic and professional objectives overseas.
