CMC HRDO welcomes Employees for Second Semester AY 2022-2023

“Determine what behaviors and beliefs you value as a company, and have everyone live true to them. These behaviors and beliefs should be so essential to your core, that you don’t even think of it as a culture.” – Brittany Forsyth

Central Mindanao Colleges’ employee orientation program is designed to help the participants acclimate to their workplace environment, familiarize themselves with the inner workings of the administrative sector, and uphold their duties and responsibilities with honor and excellence.

On January 27, 2023, CMC through the Human Resources Development Office (HRDO), conducted the General Employees Orientation. The said orientation is part of an onboarding program for its CMCian personnel for the Academic Year 2022–2023, Second Semester. This was held at the CMC Building 9, 3-6, 9-11 a.m.

School President Dr. Cynthia S. Asuncion formally opened the program. She encouraged the participants to internalize the CMC’s mission and vision so that they could render excellent and noteworthy CMCian service and know more about their rights, responsibilities, and benefits as CMCian employees. Dr. Asuncion commended the HRDO, saying, “I am tipping my hat to those who have worked tirelessly to provide such general employee programs, training, seminars, and other learning and development initiatives for CMC.”

Dr. Esther Lyn T. Angeles, Director of HRDO, discussed the policies, school procedures, and health guidelines, introduced heads, unit heads, deans, and principals, and welcomed the new employees. A discussion of the participants’ questions and concerns commenced after Dr. Angeles’ presentation.

The orientation program was designed to help the participants acclimate to their workplace environment, familiarize themselves with the inner workings of the administrative sector, and uphold their duties and responsibilities with honor and excellence. With the purpose of providing new employees with a comprehensive understanding of the CMC culture, its policies, and procedures, HRDO has also introduced new employees to their colleagues, supervisors, and other key contacts at CMC, helping them foster a sense of belongingness and engagement at CMC.

CMC’s employee orientation program is an important process for onboarding new employees and helping them become effective and engaged members of this academic institution. It can also be beneficial to the company by increasing employee engagement and retention and improving overall performance and productivity.
